“Alright everyone—how do we feel about cotton as decoration? Personally, for me, it doesn’t feel great,” she asked her followers.
In another clip, the mother-of-two was seen inspecting the plant more closely, even pulling off one of the cotton balls. She later realized the piece was artificial, noting: “It actually feels like nail polish remover cotton. Natural.”
Despite learning the decoration wasn’t real, the tennis star appeared visibly unsettled and quickly moved out of the camera frame. Williams did not reveal the name of the hotel where the incident took place.
